Warm the body, warm the soul...

Stumbled across the following during my recent trekking along the information superhighway (does anyone even use that term anymore?) I thought it was just too neat to keep to myself...

Of all the places to put a church! Those silly Russians :-) Still, I think the building itself is rather quaint and pretty - rustic yet graceful in its own way. I've always been a fan of pre-Soviet Russian architecture, especially when it comes to houses of worship. Sublime doesn't even begin to describe it for me. I think Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow is positively gorgeous - would love to see it in person someday. Moreover, I'd also love to tour around Saint Petersburg for a few days. See with my own eyes all those beautiful churches, museums and the old tsarist-era palaces. Then I could die a happy man!
